CenterStage Academy for the Arts – Class Policies
Registration
Registration for all CSAA Academy classes is available online at www.centerstageacademyforthearts.org and click on registration. Students are enrolled upon receipt of online registration and payment. Tuition for one month and registration fees are due at the time of registration for all classes. You will receive registration confirmation via email. Questions about CSAA Academy registration and classes can be answered at CSAA.arts@gmail.com.
2019-2020 Session
The 2019-2020 session runs from September 15, 2019 thru June 15, 2020. Upon registration, your student is enrolled through the end of the session. There is no drop in policy. Classes are not charged on a per class basis based on selected attendance dates. For example, if you child misses several classes in a given month, your tuition is still due and payable.
Disenrollment
Your student may be removed from the academy with a 30 day written notice requesting disenrollment.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition is calculated as a monthly rate as follows:
One Class - $100 per month ($25/class)
Two Classes - $150 per month ($18.75/class)
Three Classes - $225 per month (18.75/class)
Four Classes - $300 per month (18.75/class)
Payment
All monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month. Payments can be made online through the parent portal. Tuition for one month and registration fees are due at the time of registration for all classes. CSAA Academy offers a monthly automatic payment option. Your bank statement, credit/debit card statement or email confirmation will service as your proof of payment. An insufficient funds fee of $35 will be assessed for any returned payments.
Delinquent Accounts
Monthly tuition plans are due on the 15th of each month. Effective January 1, 2020, payments made after the 16th of the month is subject to a late fee of $35. Students with delinquent/late accounts will not be allowed to attend class until their obligation is satisfied.
Refunds
CSAA Academy does not provide refunds partial or full.
Attendance/Tardiness/Late Pickup
Consistent attendance is essential to a student’s growth and development at CSAA Academy. Please call or email the Academy if your student will be absent from class. If a student misses four (4) classes, the student will automatically be dropped from that class. In order to be reinstated, the account must be current and a reinstatement fee of $25 will need to be paid.
If a student arrives 15 minutes late for class, they can observe the class but not participate. It is highly disruptive to review missed information for one late student.
It is imperative that your child is picked up promptly after class. There will be a $10 service fee for the first ten (10) minutes and $5 for every five minutes thereafter. Penalties will double after three late pickups.

Inclement Weather Policy
CSAA Academy will follow Prince Georges County Public School in inclement weather as to whether to cancel a class. Updates will be available via the website, the parent portal, CSAA’s phone number as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages.
